Eastern Michigan University’s men’s basketball team was defeated 86-66 by the University of Toledo on February 1 at the George Gervin GameAbove Center (18-4, 10-1 MAC). The Eagles’ record now stands at 8-12 overall and 3-6 in the Mid-American Conference after this loss.
The Eagles vs Rockets game featured the third annual “glow night”. Free glow-in-the-dark t-shirts and glow sticks were distributed to the attendees’ fans. At halftime, a number of organisations from the Multicultural Greek Council and National Pan-Hellenic Council performed.
