Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 73 runs in 54 balls led the Royal Challengers Bengaluru to beat the Punjab Kings by seven wickets at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Unlike the usual form of Punjab, the batting order did not go well, with Prabhasimran Singh scoring the highest 33 runs.
The collapse of the top and middle orders of Punjab did put a lot of pressure on Shashank Singh, adding 31 unbeaten off 33 balls.
Virat Kohli blasted an amazing 73 runs unbeaten, leading RCB to win the game by seven wickets with seven balls remaining.
The victory has put (fourth-placed) RCB ahead of Punjab, who are now in the fifth position. Both have slides have collected 10 points after eight matches.
