French international Theo Hernandez can be a summer signing of mega English side Manchester City this summer. Hernandez, who plays as a left-back, is seeing his contract extension dealings at AC Milan stand still.
With the 27-year-old’s deal is set to expire in 2026 summer, AC Milan might offload the French international to get a transfer fee in return.
Manchester City are struggling in the Premier League a lot this season. Hence, there is a high expectation of many players coming and leaving the club.
In 27 PL matches, fourth-placed Man City have earned just 47 points. They are 20 points behind Liverpool, who are leading the title race.
Hernandez joined AC Milan from Real Madrid in 2019. In the 2021-22 Serie A season, he helped the Italian side to win the season.
Even he has appeared 22 times for AC Milan in the 2024-25 Serie A season, which has a three-goal and two assists contribution. So it is not like that Milan are selling the player due to poor form.
Man City are looking to change the club’s squad to the core and Hernandez can be one such option that can come at a very decent amount.
