Real Madrid are willing to pay Liverpool a fee for letting the right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold join them in June.
The current deal of the England international is set to expire on 30 June 2025 with Liverpool.
However, as per Sun, Real Madrid want Alexander-Arnold early in June to make him feature at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Thus, the Spanish giants are ready to pay Liverpool a fee for an early exit.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is taking place from June 14 to July 13 in the United States.
Even if Liverpool reach the Champions League final, the last match of the 2024-25 will take place on May 31st.
This enables a chance for Real Madrid to sign Trent and be better prepared for the Club World Cup.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is a product of Liverpool’s youth academy. He made his debut for Liverpool in 2016, winning every major title with the Reds.
Trent is close even to win the second PL title of this career if Liverpool win the season this time around.
