Marcus Rashford, who joined Aston Villa on loan in Jan 2025 until the end of the season, seems to make his move permanent this summer.
Rashford did face battles with Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim. This made him join Unai Emery’s side in the middle of this season.
However, as per Sun, the England international is ready to make his move permanent at Villa.
Villa are sitting 10th on the PL table, with 42 points in 28 games. They are five points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.
It means Aston Villa has more chances of playing in Europe next season than Man United, who are struggling this season.
Rashford’s current deal with the Red Devils can make him stay at the club until the 2028 summer. However, the 27-year-old does not see his future at Man United.
In 287 PL games, Rashford has scored 87 goals. Unfortunately, his career at MU has seen many ups and downs. Even a section of fans feel that the club should look beyond the England international.
Even there are talks of Ruben Amorim losing his job at Man United due to poor run. As he did join the 13-time PL winners in the middle of the 2024-25 season (Nov 2024), the management at Man United might give him a full season in charge. This makes Rashford’s chances of coming back harder.
