Manchester United have joined the race with Real Madrid and Chelsea to sign rising star Franco Mastantuono.
The 17-year-old River Plate midfielder would cost the Red Devils around £38m. Mastantuono’s present deal with River Plate will last until Dec 31, 2026.
Mastantuono plays as an attacking midfielder, but he can operate as a right winger too. He will turn 18 years old on August 14.
Franco was a part of the Argentina U17 and and now U20 teams.
However beating Real Madrid and Chelsea might be a task, as they can offer a better atmosphere for a young player than Man United overall.
River Plate asking £38m for a 17-year-old shows the value they see in their young player. Many fans of River Plate feel that he is a future Argentina star.
