Manchester United are eyeing a move to sign Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad this summer.
As reported by GiveMeSport, Man United seem fancy too much to add Zubimendi, who is being as one of the best midfielders in the world.
Zubimendi has come from the youth ranks of Sociedad, making his professional debut in 2019 for the Spanish club. Making his debut for Spain (senior side) in 2021, Zubimendi has appeared for his national side 15 times with scoring 1 goal.
In 2024, he helped Spain win the UEFA European Championship. He was part of Spain’s 2022-23 UEFA Nations League glory.
Zubimendi plays a holding midfielder, which is a place United are lacking massively in the 2024-25 season. He has a £51m release clause that any club can trigger to sign him.
Zubimendi holds over 160 La Liga appearances experience, something United would love to have.
