Real Madrid have placed their eyes on another promising defender as the 15-time European champions want to make an attempt to sign William Saliba from Arsenal this summer, per Relevo.
However, there is no report suggesting that the Gunners have plans to sell their leading centre-back. His present deal with Mikel Arteta’s side will expire in the summer of 2027.
Saliba joined Arsenal in 2019, but had loan moves at Saint-Étienne, Nice and Marseille before joining Aresenal in the 2022-23 season.
In fact, Arsenal did sign him from Saint-Étienne in 2019. In 2022, he made his first appearance for France.
In 91 Premier League appearances, Saliba has scored six goals, provided two assist and kept 39 clean sheets for the Gunners. The 23-year-old defender has been considered as one of te top players of the mdoren era.
