Luka Doncic led LeBron James-less Los Angeles Lakers to win a close match against the Denver Nuggets 120-108.
Despite not having three of the biggest stars in world basketball, the Lakers have managed to pull off an impassive win.
Doncic took charge of the LA Lakers in the absence of injured Nikola Jokic (elbow/ankle), Jamal Murray (ankle) and LeBron James (groin) and led them to win at home against the Nuggets.
LeBron has now missed six consecutive contests due to an injury. Doncic added crucial 31 points, which included nine rebounds and seven assists.
In just three quarters, he had a massive shooting accuracy of 47.6 per cent. His biggest impact came in the first quarter by adding 21 points.
Austin Reaves’ 22 points also played a crucial role in this victory.
The victory did also show the good form LeBron’s side carrying at home.
