Juventus’ move of Douglas Luiz has not worked that well. And now they are ready to sell him for 40m euros (£34m).
Luiz was at Aston Villa from 2019 to 2024, scoring 20 times in 175 domestic league appearances. Despite having a deal until the 2029 summer, Juve are ready to sell him that early at an around 10-million Euro loss.
They had paid over 50 million Euros to sign him last summer.
In 15 Serie A matches this season, Douglas has not scored even a goal.
The 36-time Italian champions are struggling in Serie A this season, with 56 points in 31 games.
5th-places Juve are one point behind fourth-placed Bologna.
In 2019, Luiz made his Brazil debut. Since then, he has registered 18 apps for them.
From 2017 to 19, he was a part of Manchester City but spent both seasons on loan at Italian side Girona.
