Ever since Conor Benn failed two drug tests in 2023, Simon Jordan and Eddie Hearn have disagreed on various issues. Sports Presenter Jordan not happy with the way Benn’s positive drugs case had handled by the British Boxing Board of Control.
Back in 2023, Jordan was critical of Macthroom Boxing for not informing the media about the failed drug tests. Despite Benn’s clear fight, there is nothing substantial that known behind the reason for the unexpected drugs entering his body.
Benn is set to face Chris Eubank Jr. on 26 April 2025 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England. The fight supposed to take place in Oct 2023, but Benn had to pull out during the fight week for failing WBC WADA drug tests.
As two press meets for Chris Eubank Jr. vs Conor Benn have taken place this week, Jordan used strong works over Benn.
He said: “Conor Benn To Be Banned For Life.”
Before failing two drug tests, Jordan praised Benn multiple times for his good display in multiple fights.
Ben, 28, is unbeaten in the professional boxing career. 14 of his 23 wins have come via knockout. The fight seen as a legacy-defining one where the fathers of both fighters given great fights to British and world boxing fans.
Jordan was giving his reaction to Eubank Jr’s egg slap at Benn created major headlines all over the world.
Conor’s promoter Eddie Hearn then came on TalkSport’s show disagreeing with the views of Jordon.
