Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is taking club legend Roy Keane’s criticism as positive.
Fernandes, who scored a goal against Leicester City in a 3-0 victory away from home in the Premier League on Sunday, has earned the Red Devils three crucial points.
Fernandes was criticized by Man United legend Keane on the Stick to Football podcast.
Many football experts have said many times that the Portuguese international complains a lot on the pitch without any substance behind it.
However, Fernandes did answer the criticism on Sky Sports.
He said: “Obviously not everything I do everyone will like or think in the same way and I respect everyone’s opinion and I have huge respect for Roy Keane and I accept there’s a lot of margin for improvement in my game, in my leadership and everything I do in my life.”
In 29 PL apps this season, Fernandes has scored eight goals. He is very near to reaching yet another season with 10-plus goals.
The 30-year-old attacking midfielder is one of the most consistent players at Man United. However, the performances of MU are not good this season overall.
37 points in 29 PL games have placed Man Utd in the 13th position in the English top-flight table. It is not a good position for the club as per football fans and experts.
