Rajat Patidar’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru have registered a massive victory against five-time winners Mumbai Indians by 12 runs at the Wankhede Stadium on Monday.
Virat Kohli again kept his good form alive, scoring 67 runs in 42 balls. Even captain Rajat Patidar led things competently, scoring a quick 64 runs in 32 deliveries.
It seemed that Mumbai winning the toss and electing bowl first did not work.
In the end, Jitesh Sharma’s unbeaten 40 runs helped RCB put in a huge total of 221/5 in 20 overs.
Against his former side, Krunal Pandya took four wickets and made RCB win the game by 20 runs.
RCB have now won three of the first four games. However for Mumbai, things have turned not so well with losing four of the opening five games.
For the first time, many fans of RCB are saying that they are not losing the game-winning margins. It possibly tells that the overall mojo is back somewhere or the other.
Bengaluru have lost but game, but winning three matches have made things well for them.
