Real Madrid’s star Jude Bellingham feels that it would take something special to outsmart Arsenal in the second leg of the Champions League last 8.
The England international played in Real’s 3-0 humiliation at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday. Bellingham’s national teammate Declan Rice’s brace (both free-kick goals) led Arsenal to win the first leg with fine margins.
Mikel Merino also contributed a goal in the 75th minute, helping the Gunners to have a massive 3-0 advantage. Bellingham, who did win his first UCL title last season, feels that the defending champions need to work hard in Madrid to reach the semi-finals.
Bellingham told Amazon Prime: “We need something really special, something crazy really.”
“We’ve got 90 minutes of football and anything can happen at the Bernabeu.”
Bellingham’s Real had just three shorts on target to Arsenal’s 11, making it one of the key reasons behind losing the match with ease.
