The famous football journalist Fabrizio Romano has said that Arsenal’s new sporting director Andrea Berta is desperate for Bukayo Saka to sign a new deal.
Saka’s present deal at Arsenal will end in the summer of 2027. With just two years left after the 2024-25 season (deal), the Gunners want the England international to sign a long-term deal with Saka for him to be at the club for years to come.
At the end of the 2018-19 season, Saka made his debut for Arsenal. Ever since (2019) he has been seen making a mega rise in North London.
In 186 English top-flight outings, Saka has assisted 45 times and scored 54 goals.
Saka’s consistency is superb with England too, having scored 12 goals since making his debut in 2020.
Mikel Arteta’s side have been seen close to winning the PL title in the last three to four seasons. Hence, keeping quality players like Saka and others becomes ever-so-crucial for taking the winning step ahead.
In March 2023, Saka won the PL “Player of the Month” award.
