Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti believes that Kylian Mbappe can reach the levels of Cristiano Ronaldo for the Spanish club.
The French international joined Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
Real, who will face Arsenal in the first leg of the Champions League quarters away from home next week, are fighting hard against Barcelona in the La Liga title race.
Second-placed Los Blancos have collected 63 points in 29 matches. They are three points behind leaders Barcelona.
It means Mbappe, who has scored 22 goals in 27 Spanish top-flight outings this season, has a chance to win both La Liga and Champions League glories in his first season in Spain.
The former Everton head coach sees Mbappe doing great things for Real Madrid in seasons to come.
He said: “What I wish for Mbappe is that he is capable of achieving what Ronaldo did at Real Madrid,” Ancelotti explained, “and I think that he can do it.”
“That means he will be a legend at Real Madrid like Cristiano Ronaldo is.”
Mbappe, who is the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner, is yet to win the Champions League title.
It is one of the core reasons behind him joining Real.
