Aston Villa are reportedly looking to sell Ollie Watkins for a loanee signing, Marcus Rashford (per Football Insider).
Rashford joined Aston Villa from Manchester United in the winter of 2025 on a loan until the 2024-25 season (per Football Insider).
However, the England international has scored just one goal in nine appearances for the Red Devils.
On the other hand, Watkins has scored 15 times in 33 English top-flight appearances this season.
However, Rashford has been a better high-profile player than Watkins overall. It could be a reason behind Villa looking to sell their long-standing striker for £50-60m.
Watkins has never scored fewer than 14 goals in a Premier League season for Villa. In terms of matching records with Rashford, Watkins has a much better record.
Rashford has scored just 12 goals since the start of last season.
Before joining Villa on loan, he scored four times in 15 appearances for the Red Devils.
