Aston Villa are in the progressive stage to sign Rosenborg’s Sverre Halseth Nypan (as per Sky Sports).
Sverre Nypan, who likes to play as an attacking midfielder, made his professional debut at Rosenborg in 2022.
He has made 55 domestic league appearances for Rosenborg, scoring 14 goals. The 18-year-old attacking midfielder was born on 19 December 2006 in Trondheim, Norway.
He likes to play as an attacking midfielder but can play as a central midfielder. Nypan plays for Norway’s U21 side, having contributed already to U15, U16, U17, U18 and U19 teams.
His present deal with Rosenborg will last until 30 June 2026.
Meanwhile, Aston Villa are out of the Champions League action now and are fighting for the top-four spot in the Premier League.
