Arsenal scouts are keeping a close eye on Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman as Mikel Arteta’s side can move ahead to get him at the club in the 2025 summer transfer market, as per Football Insider.
Lookman is one of the players that the Gunners want to sign. His contract with Atalanta is until 2026, with the Italian club having the power to extend it for another year.
18 goals and seven assists in 32 appearances in the 2024-25 season shows the impact Lookman has created overall.
The 27-year-old striker made his debut for Nigeria in 2022, scoring eight goals in 27 apps. However, he did represent England from U19 to U21.
Lookman came from Charlton Athletic Football Academy. He is well aware of the Premier League conditions, having played for Charlton Athletic, Everton, Fulham (loan) and Leicester City (loan) previously.
